WINDOW SOLUTIONS: WOVEN WOODS AND WOVEN TEXTURES

Last week I mentioned that I stopped by a Hunter Douglas Showroom in Southlake called Read Design Window Fashions for a CEU class and was able to peruse the showroom and look at all of their wonderful displays.  I blogged about their beautiful hardwood shutters and all the wonderful options they offer.  If you’d like to see that blog post please click here.

Today I’d like to focus on the woven woods.  If you’d like a different look and don’t mind eliminating the element of opening and shutting the shutters, but can rather raise and lower for privacy and sun-blocking these might be perfect for you.  These you see pictured here are called their Provenance series.

They come in a multitude of various styles and colors to fit any design scheme.

You can add banding in different colors on some of the styles like this blue or….

Or this copper color.

See how different the two woven wood shades look with a different color band?

This is a fun way to customize your window treatments to fit the particular color scheme in your space.

Woven woods work well in a traditional environment, a transitional environment and even a contemporary environment.

There’s a certain character to them….

No matter the weave or the color….

And they add a certain cozy charm to just about any space.

You can go light in color to medium or dark so as you can see the Provenance Woven Woods offers a lot of versatility in both style and color.

An alternative to the woven woods is their woven textures like you see pictured here.  This is their Alustra series.

A similar vibe to the woven woods, but a bit more sleek.

As you can see from these pictures they have a clean, polished look to them.

Alustra offers a variety of different textures and colors as well…..

From light to medium to dark.

Between the two of these, whether it be the woven woods or the woven textures you have plenty of styles and colors to choose from to re-dress your windows in something fun, warm and rich with character.

So if you are looking for new window solutions for your home or office think about Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Woods or Alustra Woven Textures as a viable option.

Happy Decorating!
