There seems to be a bit of a “snob” factor with a lot of people towards that ever growing, national chain that has swept the country over the years. One on every other street corner in every small town and suburb from California to New York. Everyone, everywhere knows what it is: It’s the unequivocal Wal-Mart.
Interestingly in many cases the same people who would comfortably and frequently shop at Target would never set foot in a Wal-Mart. (You know who you are – you don’t “do” Wal-Mart.) And, I do understand their thinking to a certain point. Many Wal-Marts for whatever reason just don’t seem to stay as new, clean and fresh looking in appearance as Target does in some cases. (Although the new satellite stores are incredible!) But, I’m here to tell you now it’s time to get over it!
Wal-Mart is chock full of some the greatest buys you’ll find on all sorts of things. Always great pricing and believe it or not a wonderful assortment and variety of items. Everything from plates and glassware to cookware to toweling and bedding. They offer name brand appliances just like other stores. So if you’re a Wal-mart “snob” (and you know who you are!) I’m here to tell you it would behoove you to give it a second chance.
Look at all these fun colors in these plates and goblets. Couldn’t you have fun with these? And you could do it at a great price. A price that certainly won’t break the bank.
Nice, huh?
Notice the price on this cookware? And check out the fun colors.
This fun blue.
Great red.
And, just in case you didn’t notice the price…..check this out. $99.97 for a complete Paula Dean Cookset. Gotta love it.
They even have some great containers and accessories.
How about these pillows? Fun, huh?
And, what about all this great bath “stuff”!
Even some fun bedding.
And, fun rugs, too.
Oh, and I can’t forget to show you their pretty bakery items….all at a great price:
Aren’t these cute and so much fun? So much cuteness at such reasonable prices!
Mini cakes – too adorable!
I’ve used many a Wal-Mart cupcake for showers and parties. $5.00 for a dozen of the “regular” ones. (Not these snazzy ones – these cost more, but look how wonderful they are.) Woo-Hoo!
You have to admit these are pretty darn cute! You don’t have to go to an expensive bakery. Get ’em at Wal-Mart and have money left over to buy something else. No one will be the wiser!
I know millions of you out there already know all this…..I’m just talking to all of you who – like I said – don’t “DO” Wal-Mart. And, to those who think of it more as just a grocery store. Take a look around, check out all the goodies. There are lots of great things I bet you never thought you’d find there.
Don’t be a Wal-Mart snob! Broaden your horizons and save a few pennies!
Happy Decorating!
