With the upcoming holidays and a host of family and friendship gatherings coming up it’s always fun to get some new ideas for fun tablescapes, centerpieces and place settings. As a member of NKBA I have the privilege of attending the annual tablescape competition at the amazing Wolf Sub-Zero showroom here in Dallas.
It’s always fun to see what creative centerpieces and other goodies the designers come up with.
And, many times it’s with products from the most unexpected sources and yet they all look like a million bucks.
This table won first place in the contest and it’s not hard to see why.
The designer who designed this beautiful table is contemporary designer Faye Nielson, owner of design firm The Nielson Collection.
And, what a fabulous, festive, fun table it is!
With the exception of the dishes she told me most of these items came from Target, Pier One, and Z Gallery.
She draped these fun battery operated lights around the table, weaving them throughout the holiday décor so that they played off all the reflective silver and created a warm, festive glow.
And how darling are these wine wraps?
It’s kind of like a glamorous winter wonderland.
Hope this gives you some fun ideas for your own holiday table.
More ideas to come!
