I have to apologize once again for the delay in blog posts this past week. I try to stay ahead of the game, but once in awhile it catches up with me and I get behind. Yes, I admit it….it’s true. But, between my local clients, decorating a banquet for 700 people that’s coming up this Thursday and doing a model in San Antonio that has to be completed by the first week in December my cup runneth over as they say and extra minutes in the day are scarce and priceless.
I thought I’d continue the tour of the charming home in Angelfire, NM I shared with you on my last blog post. My last post was the incredible exterior of the home and this post is the charming, cozy, inviting interior. (At least part of the interior!) I’ll start with this warm cottage-inspired kitchen. How’s this for charm?
It’s not a big space….in fact it’s quite small.
In spite of it’s small size it’s full of quaint, but very functional touches. Isn’t this the greatest?
Notice the details in the backsplash and the countertop edge?
And, these glass door fronts for storage….there’s just something so cute about a little touch like this in a small kitchen!
Next to the kitchen is this interesting dining room with a mixture of wonderful design detail. Notice the heavy Mediterranean table and chairs with this fun light fixture, and the arched opening into the family room….
Paired with, and complimented by, these lighthearted, wispy drapery sheers against these arched windows.
And, I must say….I love all the arched windows and doorways. Soooooo cool and coooooozy!
The family room has all the charm and comfort you’d expect to see in a “Tuscan Meets Mexico Meets Southern Charm” space…..just like the exterior, the kitchen and the dining room. Design details, again, everywhere. Take a look at the stair railing…
Cool, huh?
Can you see yourself cozying up to a fire here this fall? I know I can! This was one of my absolute favorite houses on the entire tour and I’m sure. I hope, you can see why.
Next time……a tour of the charming bedrooms! Another “must-see”!
Happy Decorating!
